During this 2-day training, the participants are introduced to the PRINCE2 method. What makes PRINCE2 still the de facto standard in project management?
What is the added value of a standard and how can we ensure that the standard is designed in such a way that it supports the project and not that the method is leading in how the project should be set up and executed.
PRINCE2 Foundation lays the foundation for anyone who wants to become a project manager, but also for those involved in projects or supporting projects.
Participants are taken in an interactive way to the philosophy of PRINCE2. This means that the project is set up and executed around a number of principles. PRINCE2 assumes that regardless of the complexity, nature or scale of a project, a number of aspects will always influence the progress. PRINCE2 calls these aspects Themes. The extent to which the Themes are applied depends on the context of the project. Is the project being carried out in line or is it part of a program?
Did it arise from a need, problem or compulsion? What is the project maturity level of those involved? Is it a technical project or are creative processes involved?
This training covers the basics of the PRINCE2 method and prepares for the official PRINCE2 foundation exam.
This training is suitable for project managers, project support employees and quality assurance employees. Also for anyone who is even somewhat involved in and takes part in one or more projects.
