Agile is a way of developing products and services in a flexible, fast way that are perceived as valuable by customers. The Agile approach is popular because it is simple, but mainly because it generates little overhead. Many organizations now work according to the Agile approach and are enthusiastic about it.

This interactive training offers you a glimpse into the world of Agile product development and the Scrum framework. You will be introduced to underlying concepts and principles, along with Scrum roles and responsibilities, events, artifacts and scaling approaches, as well as general practices and techniques.

The strength of this training is that it provides a broad framework to anyone who is interested or already works according to Agile principles.

Working with Scrum is central, but other methods such as KanBan, Lean Start up and Agile project management are also discussed.

  • Understand how Sprint duration is determined
  • Explain the estimation techniques: Planning Poker, Triangulation and Affinity Estimation
  • Understand how to process estimates using Ideal Days or Story Points and how Backlog Items are ordered
  • How to Monitor Sprint Progress with Burn-Down Charts
  • Understand how an Agile workplace and environment is created
